AFC offers a variety of ways for committed citizens to make a personal, positive impact in the lives of foster children. No matter what your commitment level, AFC has an opportunity for you to make a difference. Volunteers are the life blood of our organization. We have over 300 volunteers who operate the three Visitation Centers, make the Life Books, act as tutors/mentors, help with the special events and provide special expertise in the legal, accounting, auditing and construction fields. In 2009 we had 16,224 volunteer hours. Since inception in January 2003 we have had over 70,000 volunteer hours donated.
