Phoenix Visitation Center News...We are so excited to announce a new playground for our Phoenix Visitation Center.....
DESIGNED BY KIDS, BUILT BY VOLUNTEERS:
UNITEDHEALTHCARE, ARIZONANS FOR CHILDREN AND KaBOOM! BUILT PLAYGROUND IN JUST ONE DAY FOR PHOENIX CHILDREN

More than 200 volunteers from UnitedHealthcare and Arizonans for Children, organizers from KaBOOM! and residents of the Phoenix community on Saturday, Oct. 20 to build a new playground at Arizonans for Children’s Phoenix Visitation Center located at 1112 West Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013. The new playground’s design is based on drawings created by children who participated in a Design Day event in August.
The new playground will eventually serve thousands of children. Arizonans for Children’s Phoenix Visitation Center provides a comfortable and neutral environment specially designated for supervised visitations so that children who are wards of the state can establish and maintain the best possible relationship with non-custodial parents and family.
The Phoenix playground was the ninth built by KaBOOM! and UnitedHealthcare as part of the latter’s “Do Good. Live Well.” initiative – a campaign to inspire service and volunteerism among the company’s employees. This Phoenix project represents one of more than 150 playground builds KaBOOM! will lead across the country in
2012 in an effort to provide a great place to play within walking distance of every child in America.
NEW PHOENIX VISITATION CENTER OPENS
We are so excited to announce our beautiful new Visitation Center in Phoenix. We opened July 2, 2012, and are so grateful to all the volunteers who helped make this possible. Our dream of owning our own building was made possible by the generosity of The Kemper and Ethyl Marley Foundation and many other donors. The Phoenix Visitation Center is perfectly located at 1112 West Camelback Road, and is accessible by bus, taxi, lightrail, car and bicycle.
Since our move we are already experiencing record numbers of families. Early responses have been extremely positive with the new location.
As of March 31, 2013 we have served 362,384 people.

This tax credit can reduce taxes for these tax filers more than a regular deduction for contributions to charitable nonprofits, because they may get a dollar-for-dollar reduction in taxes owed.
